Teräselementti will supply and install steel structures for construction of a logistics distribution center in northern Norway. Its total area is about 23 thousand m2. Consto As acts as a client of the project, being the developer of the ASKO group, controlled by Norgesgruppen, projects. Teräselementti will supply steel frame and execute their subsequent installation. The contract is valued at around EUR 3 million. Deliveries to the site will begin in late 2010 and will last until spring 2011

"In recent years Teräselementti has vigorously built up its operations in Norway and has tested various models of cooperation with local developers, as well as with investors. Thus, the forms of cooperation with Consto As have been discussed at various levels for nearly a year, including the now launched Asko project, which is one example of finding common ground "- says export manager of the Teräselementti Mikko Nieminen.

Teräselementti has also preliminary agreed to supply a frame and shell structures for a multi-purpose complex in the western Norway. Deliveries should begin in spring 2011.

June 24, 2010 the first of the seventeen trusses was raised in its position. The sizes of trusses are on - true unique for Finland: length (span) - 78 m, height - 7 m, the maximal width - about 3 m, weight - 65 tons. Thanks to careful preparatory work, the raising of the truss with two cranes and complex erecting were executed in the best way.

In January Teräselementti and SRV Toimitilat Oy have agreed to supply facade structures of pavilion 7 of Helsinki Fair Centre. In view of the supplying of steel frames for the same object, about which the agreement was reached last year, the pavilion no 7 is one of the most significant projects of Teräselementti in this year. Facade of the contract includes the exterior walls of the total area of 9300 sq meters, of which 1300 sq meters is a glass wall, 3500 sq meters - wall panels and 4500 sq meters - the walls with insulation, which are assembled on site. Also work on the construction site include installation of aluminium cladding and lining of sheet steel, covered reinzink, in quantities 2800 and 1700 sq meters.

December 16, 2009 Teräselementti Oy was admitted to the self-regulatory organization NP "Association of Builders of St. Petersburg. February 4, 2010 Teräselementti Oy has received from building SRO the Certificate of admission to work. This Certificate confirms the admission to such types of work as work on installation of precast concrete and concrete structures, work on installation of metal structures, assembling the wall panels of the sandwich-type, wall assembling on site and assembly work for roofing. The certificate is issued without expiration date and is valid throughout the Russian Federation.

From 1 of January 2010 action of building licenses in the Russian Federation is canceled and established a new procedure of building activity - membership in the SRO and the presence of the permit to work. Now Teräselementti carries out civil and erection works on a building site of Open Company « PAULIG RUS », located in the Tver area.

SRV Toimitilat Oy and Teräselementti Oy signed a contract to supply steel frame to the pavilion 7 of the exhibition center Messukeskus, located in Helsinki. The beginning of civil and erection works - June, 2010

In addition to the steel frame, the delivery also includes work on installation and grouting of precast concrete structures. The total amount of delivery will make approximately 1500 tons.

Largely structures will consist of the rod structures (trusses) from pipes of round section.

Trusses will be assembled on site in the enlarged blocks. Spans of the main bearing structures will reach 78 meters, the maximal width - up to 3 meters, height - 7 meters. The total mass of a single truss is about 50 t. In the assembly zone before raising of trusses into their position, maintenance bridges, with direction parallel to the direction of truss, and engineering equipment will be installed into them.

In November, Teräselementti Oy will begin delivering steel frames to an American-owned, multinational company that manufactures health and hygiene products in north-western Russia. QuattroGemini Ltd is the commissioner of the project with which Teräselementti signed an agreement in mid-September.

Deliveries will continue until next spring, and the frame installations are to be finished in May 2008. Teräselementti is delivering the plant’s supporting roof structures, beam structures for the intermediate levels and the supporting roofing sheet profiles, all of which include installation. The total amount of steel to be delivered is approximately 900 tons.
